Selection Charter

We select objects for Blue Fir based on:

— Continuity with historically documented Jingdezhen production methods — Use of materials consistent with the relevant period or tradition — Production within the Jingdezhen ceramic ecology — Ability to provide documented production context

We make selection decisions internally — Blue Fir doesn't run an open submission process.

This charter is a living document. We update it as our understanding of Jingdezhen scholarship and production practice develops.
