Small on Purpose

The espresso cup is deliberately compact — sized for a 25 to 40ml shot, not a full drink. Its thicker wall relative to size isn't a styling choice, it's there to slow heat loss across a small liquid volume that would otherwise cool within minutes.

What the Thicker Wall Is For

Thicker wall, roughly 4–5mm, adds thermal mass, holding the shot's temperature through the short time it takes to drink.
Matte glaze exterior gives a secure, non-slip grip on a small handle sized for two fingers, not a full hand.
Rounded interior base concentrates crema at the surface rather than letting it disperse against flat walls.
Narrow opening relative to volume slows aroma loss between pulling the shot and drinking it.

Built for One Job

Espresso is unforgiving about temperature and timing, so the cup carries real weight in how it tastes seconds after it's poured. We selected a form that does exactly one job well rather than a multipurpose cup that does several jobs adequately.

A Cup That Matches the Moment

Espresso is fast — pulled, drunk, done. A cup that holds heat and concentrates aroma keeps that entire short window working in the coffee's favor, instead of losing temperature and aroma before the first sip.
