Mission

Jingdezhen porcelain is not the result of a single generation.

Studio interior, Jingdezhen

Inside Jingdezhen — production continuing in active studios, not in archives.

Blue Fir works from inside Jingdezhen's porcelain system — not as an outside observer, but as a participant close to the studios that make what we sell.

Our work starts with selection: choosing objects and studios that meet our standard, then presenting them with the history and context that makes them make sense — not as isolated pieces, but as part of something much larger.

We grow without lowering the standard. In practice, that means three things: exceptional porcelain built for tea and coffee, honest long-term partnerships with the studios we work with, and a name that means something in Jingdezhen for decades to come. Reaching those goals means saying no more often than yes.

Master cup, celadon glaze — quality measured at the surface.

To be part of Blue Fir is to participate in a living tradition.

Not as spectators, but as responsible custodians of a craft still moving, still refining, still approaching perfection.
