白瓷釉

White and near-white glaze systems in which body, glaze thickness and firing combine to produce a restrained monochrome surface.
Technical Description
White porcelain is not simply the absence of colour. The visual result comes from the interaction between a pale porcelain body, glaze chemistry, glaze thickness and firing.
Some white surfaces appear brilliant and glassy; others read as warmer, softer, milkier or slightly blue-white. These differences can be central to the character of the finished object.
Blue Fir therefore treats white glaze as a family of surfaces rather than one universal recipe.
